Dr. Angela L. Balsley is the Executive Director of Earlywood Educational Services, a special education cooperative serving six school districts in central Indiana. With a doctorate in Education Leadership & Policy Studies from Indiana University and a masters in Strategic Management from the Kelley School of Business, her research interests include leadership, special education, and dispute resolution. This is her 22nd year as a professional educator. She taught students with severe disabilities for nine years before becoming a special education director. Angela is a member of CEC and CASE and is the President of the Indiana Council of Administrators of Special Education. A passion for “doing the right thing” for children and their families led her to pursue an administrative path. She believes in fostering creative and innovative solutions through collaboration. When she isn’t engaged at work or in her studies, she enjoys time with her family and camping.
