Leila Peterson

Leila Peterson has served as Executive Director of SchoolTalk, Inc., since 2008. SchoolTalk’s mission is to prevent and resolve special education conflicts for District of Columbia Schools. Her practice focuses on public and community conflict, specializing in processes that allow government, private, and community stakeholders to tackle difficult issues together. Leila also teaches as an adjunct professor in the George Mason University School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Courses taught include Dialogue and Difference (CONF 202), Conflict Resolution Techniques and Practices (CONF 300), and Interpersonal Conflict (CONF 320).
